Q: Will I lose management control if I outsource our accounting services?

A: No, in fact you will have more control over your organization’s finances. Cloud-based technology enables you to set approval rules for expenditures, payroll, etc. You can keep an eye on your finances whenever and wherever you need to.

Q: Will C3 be available to us when we need them?

A: Our desire is to be an extension of your management team. Unlike a traditional firm, we don’t start the clock when you call. Your monthly fee includes our time at your office or by web conference, working on the next board meeting, discussing the long-term plan, evaluating the costs of that new initiative, and more.  

Q: How much does all this cost?

A: C3’s services are very affordable. In general, outsourced costs have proven to be less than what organizations are paying for their accounting staff. Typical cost savings range from 25-50% and you’ll find the value you’re receiving to be much greater than you would get with an in-house bookkeeper. You save hiring and training costs, and will no longer have to pay for office space, phone lines, PTO or other employee benefits associated with in-house bookkeeping staff.


Our fees are based on the volume and complexity of each organization. We determine the scope of services and establish a fixed monthly amount, so you can manage you budget.


Q: Why should I outsource my accounting?

Q: How does this relationship work?

A: You decide how much help you would like C3 to do.  We can do all your accounting tasks or come along side your team as needed.  We will implement best in class systems and best practices to minimize the tasks, maintain your control levels and maximize real-time key performance measures. Based upon your service level, we will supervise your accounting, ensure compliance, monitor cash flow and budgets and if you would like, help develop plans and meet with your team on a frequent basis.  All of this for an agreed upon monthly flat fee.

Q: Why don’t I just use my current CPA?

A: You may have a CPA firm that prepares tax returns or may do an audit or review of your financial statement. However, if a CPA firm provides bookkeeping services to a client, it can’t review or audit the financial statements of that client. Many CPA firms decline to provide services that might later put them in a conflict-of-interest situation.


If we provide the accounting services for you, we find that your audit and year-end tax preparation charges will likely be lower because your books are already GAAP compliant and audit ready.

Q: How long will this take?

A: In most cases you can be up and running in  just a few weeks. Once our free assessment is completed we will present you with a proposal, which includes an implementation time line. We like to see at least one full month cycle to ensure accuracy of conversion, to train your team and to fine tune processes.
